Yeah Amelia

Only 99 days left in my pregnancy!!! im down to my double digits!!!! im just about ready too cuz she has been makes my ribs her punching bag! I met the dr who is going to deliver me and he seems way nice and in a few weeks we get to tour the hospital that just renovated its maternity ward last year so things are looking up...i just cant wait to get some furniture so we dont have to sit on the floor anymore! our stuff got picked up on monday and should be here by dec 8th so i am counting down the days to that too! oh boy, a really bed and not some stinky blowup mattress! Aj has been lovin life in our new house. he adjusted really quickly. we even turned his crib into a toddler bed which he just loves bouncing on! i cant believe what a big boy he is becoming! well thats all the news for now...just thought i would share!

Aarons OCS Grad and Athens!!

So i have put up some of aarons OCS graduation pics. they did a lot of fun stuff leading up to graduation. first they had a dinner the night before where you could meet all of his class team (the Drill Instructor, Officer, and Chief that oversaw his class) they also got to do some push ups in the hall with the di, it was crazy how loud they get. (i have lots of videos but will have to post later) then the next morning they had there victory run which is like a mile and a half run with two of the classes under them and any family that wanted to join at 5am. i just watched. after the run they went over to the "sandpit" to get beat by the di so the fams could all watch and take pics. then they marched to the gally so we could see how they ate for the first nine weeks. they had to do everything at attention together as a group, even eating! then aarons dad got to swear him in as an officer just before the graduation. the graduation was really good. the Admiral of the warcollege was the key speaker and i think he did a good job. after aarons grad we packed up and mad dashed to Athens, Ga. We got here last sunday night (man was it a long trip! i think it took us like 20hours) We have just officially moved into our apartment but we wont get any of our stuff from Idaho for another 3wks or so! bummer. so some of the women from our new ward have been nice enough to let us borrow some of their stuff (like pots and pans and a card table) so that we can survive till our stuff gets here.

So this is Aaron having breakfast. before he can sit down his Chief has to check him over to make sure his tray is right and that he is standing right. if, when sitting they are not sitting properly(knees together and feet at a 45 degree angle, try it its kind of hard) the di will go around with a plate to hold between your legs to keep your knees together. once they are all sitting they have to eat by number (for the first few weeks) so that they all do it at the same time. they only could use a "warspoon" until nine weeks.
this is them warming up for their run. its funny cuz they were all joking and laughing around until their di showed up...dum...dum...dummmm! who yelled at them and told them to shut up...and man did they all listen! i think there di was just about the scariest man alive! he was crazy loud too when he yelled

this is aarons class. with the di in green on the left next to the chief in front on the right is the captain, the admiral from the warcollege and aarons class Officer. i also have a pic of aarons first salute but it wouldnt fit. after aarons graduates he outranks his di and chief so after graduation they all line up and get there first salute from them. in return aaron gives them each a silver dollar, its tradition. overall graduation was nice, the drive sucked, but we are liking it here in Athens. everyone is really nice which is refreshing coming from the land of grouches (new england). we are just so glad to be all together as a family again! Aj sure missed his Daddy!

Halloween!

So it might have taken me a little longer then most but i finally got our Halloween pictures up. Aj was just about the cutest skunk i ever saw. i figured he would spend the whole time trying to rip of his hat or chase his little skunk tail but he loved wearing it

This first pic was actually on halloween in newport, ri. we went to go visit aaron for the weekend and he was able to get off base liberties so that he could go trick or treating with us. sadly both aaron and aj were dressed head to toe in black and white (aaron has to wear his blues off base ) which is not very good attire to wear trick or treating. so i got a glow stick necklace around aj neck i put glow sticks in his pumpkin and then he had a blue flashlight (mostly cuz he likes flashlights) and made sure he stayed by aaron so they both were visible!
All the rest of these pics were at trunk or treat the tuesday before. and let me tell you i was happy i got to use that costume at least twice...it took so stinkin long to make. and guess what aj will be next year if he can still fit? and when he cant guess what mia will be? a little pink bow over an ear and Whala a girl skunk costume!

aj loved going around and getting candy in his pumkin. most people would had it to him and he would put it in but of course grandpa couldnt just give him one, what grandparent would deprive their grandchild like that?...he let aj help himself and let me tell you he really did help himself. i couldnt pull him away from Lances basket he was just having such a good time putting all that candy in his pumkin. i think grandpa got a kick out of it too!

the trunk or treat was so much fun. they had games like go fish, and a cupcake walk that grandma took aj around on a few times so that we could get one from the cupcake nazis (they were literally guarding a mountian of cupcakes so that the parents wouldnt eat them...please i think the kids got enough in the way of candy they can spread the cupcake love around!). Newport was a blast too. the neighborhood we went to was about a block away from the chruch there and everyone was just so friendly. aaron loved taking aj door to door, making sure aj said his thank you everytime and blew a kiss bye-bye when they left. they were a cute sight to see! aaron even got a couple of salutes (even though he really isnt an officer yet, 8days left!, he still looks like one) and one or two people even thanked him for serving. i know that meant a lot to him! overall it was a pretty great halloween!
