Emergency Room!

so aj and i have been sick on and off for the last week and a half. he got this really bad cold then gave it to me. he was starting to get better and i was pretty much over it too. then monday night he got a 100 fever in like and hour and started to weeze. so now i was worried that his cold had turned into Pnemonia. we debated taking him to the emergency room or just wait till the morning. luckily, thanks to the Navy, we were covered for the emergency room and decided we should just go so that i wasn't up all night worried about him. they did a chest x-ray and this terrible swab-thing in his nose but they said he just had a really bad cold. boy did i feel dumb. the dr was all "don't worry, there is a really bad cold going around and we have had lots of kids in here." i just thought thats what he tells all the overactive moms who bring their kids in with a little fever. but we did see a couple of more kids come in that night and that made me feel better. aj was better by the next afternoon and just like clockwork the following night i got a fever. i am usually able to function when i'm sick but fevers just totally knock me out. so it was not a fun night. the kid is still feelin pretty crappy. so of course he wan'ts to be held non stop its soo much fun over here
